The bull shaped rock, the village's symbol, is located in the plaza. It is one of the best conserved municipalities with it's rock made houses, steep streets, beatiful corners and facades covered with flowers. The whole town serves as a natural lookout for the valley, with amazing views because it is located right on the mountain.
The remains of castles stick out as well as what is left from the wall. In San Juan church ,from the Renaissance era , you can see the bell tower and it's wooden sculptures. It's tower was part of the a Medieval Castle from the XIII. Around it you can also find Roman traces.
But what's most stunning about this village is it's natural heritage: the Temblar Chestnuts (protected by the government because of their age and great beauty). But they are not the only beautiful trees found in Segura de Toro. You can also find oak trees, pine trees, and cork oak. There are also two natural swimming pools with clean and refreshing waters.
