"Las cañadas" are routes for cattle, in La Garganta is typical to take the cattle down the mountains in winter, and getting back for summer

With lots of water there is also plenty of mushrooms, mainly in autumn, but over the rest of the year too.

In this place people lives well balanced with nature, cattle maintains the vegetations and controls the fire risk
The "Pozo de la Nieve" (snow well)
The snow well is a place where people stored snow in winter, to make ice, and sell it in summer. It worked until beginning of 20th century
